How to apply?

School visit

Initial step of the admission is making an appointment beforehand. Please note that the school visit is only accepted through appointment. Our admission staff will contact you via email/phone confirming your appointment and allow you to enter the school. Admission hours are from 10:00-17:00 between Monday and Friday. For some special occasions, different hours are partially possible. During the school visit, our admission staff will give you a presentation about our curriculum and pedagogy and a school tour. Admission staff will communicate in English or Mongolian depending on the visitor.

Admission test

Purpose of the admission test is to learn more about each other. We take the admission test in order to plan and define your child’s academic needs. We assess the abilities of all students in English, Mathematics, Mongolian and social skills. The admission test is conducted in written form and interview by the admission assistant and teachers.

Admission test dates:

Tests are taken every Friday at 3 PM.

Duration of test is 1 hour.

Note:

Grade 1 applicants must submit "Behavioral record" prior to the admission test. Without behavioral record, we will have to reschedule the admission test. Please download the form and send it to ulaanbaatar@sisuschools.com before the test.

Admission form

You’re welcome to fill out our admission form after agreeing that you have enough information and consider that our curriculum and pedagogy meet your child. Our admission form is available both in-print and online. The admission form must be filled out completely and truthfully. All information about a student's previous school records must be provided. After submitting the admission form, you must pay the application processing fee of $180 USD. Please note that this fee is non-refundable. Once the application processing fee is paid, the admission staff will schedule an admission test.

Registration

If our assessment team evaluates that the student is ready for the applying grade level, the admission staff will contact you and verify the student’s information. You’ll receive an admission letter and invoice for tuition fee. Please note that the child seat will be confirmed upon payment of tuition fee.

After the tuition fee, you'll receive an invitation to sign the educational agreement with the school. You must bring the following documents:

- Parents' citizen IDs (original and copies)

- Child's birth certificate (original and copy)

- Child's vaccine certificate (original and copy)

- Child's portrait picture 3x4 (send the file version to ulaanbaatar@sisuschools.com)

- Previous school records; certificates and transcripts

Please note that, according to our admission requirements, a student with missing documents cannot reserve a seat at our school.

Signing the educational agreement

Once the tuition fee is fully paid, parents/guardians will be given the following documents:

Educational agreement (Mongolian and English)
Laptop use policies
Tuition fee payment policies
Academic year calendar
Price quote for uniforms
Instruction manual for Arta application for lunch
Schedule for Extracurricular activities (Mongolian and English)

Parents must sign the contract only upon reading the agreement thoroughly and fully and agreeing to the contents of the agreement. The agreement is finalized upon two parties signing. The agreement is in 2 copies; for each party.
